The Steribite kerrison was designed to eliminate many of the design issues of standard reusable kerrisons.  There are no screws that can fall out, and the spring is recessed to avoid snagging gloves during use.  The Steribite kerrsion also features a thin footplate and an ergonomic comfortable handle design, with color coding for the various tip sizes.
